The Glaisnock Cafe in Wigtown has been recognised for a toastie of late but their breakfast is also a cracker.
In Issue one of our Wigtownshire, the South Main Street business was featured coming second in the Best Breakfast Awards in the Scotland category for their fry-up.
Instead of a ‘Full Scottish’ breakfast, they have a ‘Full Wigtown’.
Owner Carl Davies said: “The name came about because we try to use as much local produce as we can.”
The breakfast includes double helpings of bacon and sausage with haggis, mushrooms beans and a fried egg. Yum.
